Niki Cook
Softball Instructor
Niki Cook is a native of Buford, GA. Niki attended Grayson High School, Buford High School, and Shorter University (Ga.). At Grayson, she was a two-time 6A All-State honoree, Gwinnett County Super 6 member, and Offensive Player of the Year. At Buford, she was two-time AAA state champions (2012, 2013), two-time Region 7-AAA champions (2012, 2013), two-time AAA Georgia Player of the Year (2012, 2013)...at Shorter, Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Year, two-time All-GSC selection, NFCA All-American (2015) and NFCA Golden Shoe Award (2016).
Additional accomplishments include:
2017: First team All-America honors by the NAIA and National Fastpitch Coaches Association...named the NFCA Golden Shoe award winner...led the NAIA in seven offensive categories...Association of Independent Instutitions’ Player of the Year and first-team performer...topped GGC’s squad in 10 offensive categories, including a .603 batting average and 71 stolen bases...scored 88 runs and collected 117 hits...legged out six triples and drew 27 walks from top of the batting order...posted a .747 slugging percentage and .667
on-base percentage...started all 60 games for team that won the 2017 A.I.I. conference touranment and reached the opening round of NAIA tournament.
